Privacy Policy
Effective 10 July 2026 · MyMoto is in beta; this policy is written in plain language on purpose.
Who we are
MyMoto (getmymoto.com) helps riders choose a motorcycle they will not regret buying. You can reach us about anything in this policy at privacy@getmymoto.com, or simply reply to any email MyMoto has sent you.
What we collect
- Your answers - what you tell the advisor or the questionnaire: things like your country and region, height, riding experience, budget, and motorcycle preferences. Your name and email are part of this only if you choose to share them; email is always optional.
- Advisor conversations - the text of your chat with the MyMoto advisor is stored together with your submission so we can review real conversations and make the advisor better.
- Account data - if you create a free MyMoto account, we store your email address and the reports and conversations you save, so you can open them on any device.
- Feedback - anything you send through the feedback form.
- Basic analytics - we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not track you across the web. We see page views and referrers, not who you are.
How we use it
- To build your personalized motorcycle match report.
- To email you a copy of your report, if you asked for one.
- To follow up on your match during the beta, if you shared your email.
- To improve the advisor by reading real conversations and fixing where it falls short.
- To keep your account working (sign-in codes, saved reports).
What we never do
- We never sell your information.
- We never share your details with dealers or anyone else without your permission.
- We show no ads and use no advertising trackers.
Where your data lives
MyMoto runs on a small number of specialist services that process data on our behalf:
- Netlify - hosts the website and stores questionnaire submissions and feedback.
- Cloudflare - delivers the site, relays advisor conversations to our AI provider, routes our email, and provides the cookie-free analytics.
- Anthropic - the AI that powers the advisor processes your conversation text to hold the interview. It does not decide your recommendations; our own engine does that from verified data.
- Supabase - stores account data (hosted in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Resend - sends our emails (your report, sign-in codes).
Some of these providers operate in the United States and process data there under their standard data-protection safeguards.
Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser's local storage holds your in-progress conversation, your latest report, and your sign-in session so the site works smoothly on your device - that data stays on your device unless you create an account or submit the questionnaire. The bot-protection widget (Cloudflare Turnstile) may set its own functional cookie.
How long we keep it
We keep submissions, conversations, and account data while they are needed to provide the service and improve the advisor during the beta. If you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we remove it.
Your rights
If you are in the EU/EEA (and in most other places too), you can ask us at any time to: see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, or stop us from using it. Email privacy@getmymoto.com or reply to any MyMoto email and we will handle it. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
Age
MyMoto is for riders who can legally hold a motorcycle license. It is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly keep their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
